Product studio & software engineering · Tunisia
We build the products we wish already existed.
Elitebox builds its own EdTech products — including Sabil, already in the hands of Tunisian students — and puts the same engineering team to work for companies that need to ship, not just prototype.
Two disciplines, one team
Our product
Sabil — the product as the proof
An AI learning assistant for Tunisian secondary school students. Designed, built and operated by Elitebox.
Currently: years 1 and 2 of secondary school. Further levels follow.

The problem
A student stuck at 9 pm has no one to ask. Online resources are generic, rarely aligned with the official curriculum, and hand over the answer instead of teaching how to find it.
What we built
A Socratic AI tutor, fully aligned with the official CNP curriculum, with science labs you can manipulate straight in the browser.
The result
A platform in production, with local Flouci and IZI payment, a parent space that respects the student's privacy, and coverage expanding level by level.
What the platform contains
Socratic AI tutor
Never hands over the raw answer: it asks targeted questions, breaks the problem down and gives progressive hints.
Virtual labs
Electrical circuits, chemical reactions, physics phenomena — the student experiments safely, straight in the browser.
Agenda & reminders
Planned revision sessions and encouraging reminders, to build consistency without overload or stress.
Diagnosis & remediation
After each exercise, misunderstood concepts are detected and targeted exercises are proposed to close the gap.
Parent space
Real study time, validated skills, gap alerts. Paired by a unique secret code — private conversations stay private.
Revision sheets
At the end of each chapter, a clear summary of the definitions, theorems and formulas to remember, generated automatically.
How it works
Selection & diagnosis
The student picks a subject and a chapter. The tutor assesses the starting level with an activation question.
Guided practice & experiment
They experiment in the virtual lab, ask their questions and move forward on the tutor's progressive hints.
Validation, summary & recall
Acquired skills are recorded, the revision sheet is generated, the reminder goes into the agenda.
Consulting & engineering
The same team, working on your products
We deliberately take a small number of engagements at a time. Each one is run by the engineers who build Sabil.
AI & LLM product engineering
Language-model systems that hold up in production, not only in a demo.
Deliverables
- RAG architecture and tool-using agents
- Evaluation harnesses and guardrails
- Cost, latency and observability under control
Scoping sprint — 2 weeks
Product build, 0 → 1
From scoping to launch, one team that designs, builds and ships.
Deliverables
- Discovery and functional specification
- Architecture, web and mobile application
- Production launch and post-launch support
Dedicated team — 3 to 6 months
EdTech & learning platforms
The domain we know from the inside, because we built in it ourselves.
Deliverables
- Curriculum and progression modelling
- Adaptive learning and assessment
- Parent and teacher portals
Fixed scope or dedicated team
Engineering advisory
A senior read on a team and a codebase that already exist.
Deliverables
- Architecture review and technical debt
- Cloud cost and performance audit
- CI/CD, code standards and hiring
Short engagement — 5 to 10 days
Method
How we work
Four rules that do not change, whatever the client or the length of the engagement.
Scoping before code
Two weeks to turn an intention into a priced scope, with the risks named. If the project does not hold up, you know before you have spent.
Incremental delivery
A usable version every two weeks, deployed to a real environment. No tunnel, no big final reveal.
You own the code and the data
Repository, infrastructure and data are yours from the first commit. No proprietary component that would tie you to us.
Knowledge transfer
The engagement ends with a documented handover: architecture, operations, and as much time with your team as it takes.

Before you write to us
How does an engagement start?
Almost always with a two-week scoping sprint, billed as a fixed fee. It produces a scope, an architecture and a price. You are then free to continue with us — or take the scoping elsewhere.
What engagement models, and at what price?
Fixed fee for a defined scope, monthly retainer for a dedicated team. The rate depends on seniority and duration; we quote it after scoping, never before we understand the need.
Who owns the code you produce?
You do. Repository, infrastructure and data are on your side from the first commit. We introduce no proprietary component that would tie you to Elitebox.
Do you work remotely?
Yes, by default, from Tunis (UTC+1). We overlap the full European working day and part of the North American morning. On-site sessions are possible on request.
Startups or established companies?
Both, but not on the same engagements. For a startup: 0 → 1 build. For an established company: AI engineering, platform rebuild, or advisory on an existing codebase.
What happens after delivery?
A documented handover and time with your team. After that, either you run it yourselves, or we stay on maintenance for an agreed volume. Neither option is imposed.
